Recovery from an amazing Christmas

Okay so i have sooo much to blog about today! First of all we had such an amazing Christmas i cannot even tell you how great it was. Christmas Eve Nic, Dom and I headed up to Nic's house to spend the night and day up at his house in Park City. Before that though we had a gift wrapping extravaganza and then headed up the mountain.

We had the best dinner. Brenda made this amazing prime rib, it was probably the best steak i have ever had in my life. It was such a great evening we had great food and great conversation. Nic's family is pretty incredible and i really do enjoy spending time with them. They made Dom and I feel so welcome and it meant a lot that they opened up their home to us for Christmas. So dinner was great then we got little Domi tucked into bed so that Santa could come! :) Dom made out like a bandit this year. He got a dog tent which is just perfect in size for him and then a sleeping bag and a camping chair to complete the whole ensemble. Not to mention a boat load of toys and clothes. Santa was good to Dom this year as I'm sure he will be every year. You should have seen him in the tent it was sooo cute. Lady even thought she would try it out. Every time Dom would go to bed she would get inside.

Anywho Christmas day was awesome too. Nic got me a new camera since mine has been giving me problems lately and we all know how much I LOVE to take pictures :) He also gave me various other fantastic gifts that i love! He spoiled me rotten he even gave me some really pretty jewelry from Mexico. I do have to add that Dave and Brenda got me (US) this awesome coffee pot that grinds and brews the coffee all in one. It is fabulous. For those of you that don't know i am a coffee fiend and it's amazing how grinding your own coffee can make a difference. So needless to say i am now in coffee lovers heaven.

Now let's talk about Nic's gifts, he got tons of cool camping stuff and one of them was a camp shower tent with a closet in it! Let's be honest that gift was really for me! Brenda is the best because she endured many years in the woods without those luxuries so I think she is trying to make my transition a little easier! ha ha ha! Anyway we are totally set to camp next year and i'm so excited to try out all the new stuff. He got a tent and camping chairs and all sorts of fun goodies.

It snowed so bad on Christmas and we weren't sure that Nic's family would be able to make it up for the day but mid afternoon everyone decided to brave it and headed up in the treacherous snow storm. IT was so much fun Jenn brought the kids up and we opened up the rest of the presents. Dom loves Jenn and her family so he had a blast hanging out with all of them. We ate some more great food and I'm pretty sure I've gained 10 lbs but it's the holidays right? All in all it was such a fun day and I'm so glad everyone else made it up to spend the day with us. I did miss my family a little but Nic's family is so great they made up for it. Dominik had a blast too! He really does love it up there and he loves to play with everyone.
The rest of the weekend did not disapoint either. Nic's friend Justin was in town so we all went out to spend time with him. It was really fun and it was good to see Justin. Saturday i had a Bachelorette party and Nic went to his friends Tina's for yet another Christmas party. Nic and I have had something goin on every weekend for the last 5 weeks. I've got to be honest i'm ready to RELAX! Little Dom left us Saturday morning to spend time with his dad and Grandma. I miss my little man when he goes and he will be gone for 5 days! :( We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that the New Year brings nothing but Blessings and Happiness everyones way!
