It's A Girl

Nic and I are very happy to announce we are having a little girl. We found out last Saturday at a place called Fetal Photo. I thought it was a little boy so we were a little taken back that it was a girl but we are super excited. Now I have one of both and we will keep trying for a boy on the next round. She measured right on her due date and we got to hear her little heartbeat. It was very cool. She was moving around all over the place. We don't have any names picked out yet but I will keep you all posted.
She moved in my belly today and it scared me. I still forget I'm pregnant sometimes and today was the first time I felt her move for sure. I feel flutters from time to time but this was a little more than a flutter.
I can't wait until Nic can feel her kick. He talks to my belly all the time, it's soo cute. I have a little belly now but it's nothing compared to what it will be. I still think people wonder if i'm just eating lots of donuts instead of actually being pregnant. This is the most awkward stage but it will be over soon. I'm so glad to be into my 2nd trimester. I feel SOOOO much better. I think Nic is pretty happy to have his wife back. I was so miserable those first few months, I wasn't very fun but now I'm back in action. :)
We have also put an offer in on a house in South Jordan. It's a fixer upper so we will be doing some renovations before we move in. We are very excited and hopefully all will go well with the closing and the rehab! We are very excited for the Holidays. I cannot believe Christmas is around the corner. We are flying to California for New Years Eve with my dad and step mom. I cannot wait. I miss my family so much and it will be good to see them. Anyway I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and New Year. I will get some ultrasound and belly pics up soon!

Ultrasound 12 weeks

Well it's official we have hit the 12 week mark and our little embryo is now a Fetus. I could hardly believe my eyes today when I saw how much our little baby has changed. It was moving around all over the place and flailing it's little arms and legs. It was the most amazing thing ever. I get more and more excited every day . We also have a Fetal Doppler so we have been able to hear the heart beat all the time. It's Dom's nightly thing to ask me if he can hear the babies heartbeat. It just melts my heart that he even thinks to ask. Only a few more weeks until we get to see what we are having. I'm not quite sure at this point what it could be. But as long as he or she is healthy I am happy. I'm just so grateful for this precious gift! Nic was so cute to watch during the ultrasound he could not believe that the baby was moving all over the place. I think it made him pretty excited too. We both can't wait for this little baby to get here.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is here. This year has flown by! I cannot believe I am married with a baby on the way :) A year ago I never would have thought I would be here. But I could not be happier! I am so thankful for my amazing husband and son. I am also grateful for my amazing new family and my family and friends. Nic and I have such a great support group from every angle and we are very blessed to have the people in our lives that we do! So I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and remind everyone to be Thankful of all the blessings they have in their lives. In this tough economy and all the stresses we all have, I think we forget to remember all the positive things around us. Anyway I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend and stay tuned. Love The Arnold's

Baby Bump 10 weeks 3 days

Well everyone the bump has finally made it's debut! It's usually a bit bigger at night when my belly is full! But there is definately a little bump now! :) We have a fetal doppler so we have heard the heartbeat a few times now. It's absolutely amazing. I could listen to it for hours. It's still hard to believe I have a little life inside me. It's starting to become more real as I start to show. We have our next appointment on Tuesday so it will be neat to see the baby and how much it has grown since our last ultrasound.

All is well here. Just gearing up for the holidays. Dom is doing great and he is 3 going on 10 he is certainly keeping us on our toes. He is quite the arguer in fact he may grow up to be a lawyer he is so good! lol. But all is all he is such a good boy and he is the light of my life. I'm a little nervous for 2 but i'm definately excited for this precious baby to get here. We can't wait to find out what we are having! We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so grateful for my amazing family.... my husband my son and my precious gift I'm carrying. I'll write after the ultraound :)

Our Family's Exciting News

Well today Nic and I just had our first ultrasound to find out that we are seven weeks along with our first baby together! We've known for 3 weeks now but today was our first appointment. We are both sooo excited. We got to see it's little heartbeat. I can't believe how small it is.
We are both still in shock a little because we weren't trying just yet. But we feel so grateful to even be able to get pregnant. It really is such a blessing!
It was funny because I have been nauseaus for over a month now along with various other symptoms but I was totally convinced I wasn't pregnant! I took one test when i was one day late and it was negative. But when a week later the symptoms continued I took another test and sure enough it was positive.
I could hardly believe my eyes! It is still taking time to set in. I have been so nauseas this pregnancy and I was not at all with Dom. It pretty much hits me any time of the day. My lower back hurts and i'm tired on and off but other then that I feel great.
Dom is pretty excited too and he is adamant about having a little sister. :) But only time will tell. Nic has been fabulous! I get back rubs and lots of pampering. He is going to make such a great dad! Anyway stay tuned. Hope this finds everyone happy and healthy!

Marriage and Beyond

Hey everyone so it's been forever since I've written but things have been pretty hectic! Nic and I are finally married and it was the most perfect day ever. After all the planning and all the stress it was totally worth it. Thanks to everyone that came out and supported us and helped make our day special.
Things have finally settled down and life is good! For those of you that don't know we bought a home (for a week) and then moved out of it a week later! LONG STORY but we are so glad we did and we are currently renting a home for 6 months while continuing to look for a new place to live!
I love being married! Nic is my best friend and there is no one else I would rather be with. Dom is adjusting pretty good. He even calls Nic daddy sometimes. It is soooo cute! :)
He is 3 years old and is moving up into a bigger class next week. He is going from a Panda to a Dinosaur and he is so EXCITED! I cannot believe how big he is getting. I swear he gets bigger and bigger every day.
Nic and I just got back from Jackson Hole and Yellowstone for a little weekend honeymoon. It was such a great time and it was nice to just relax and be together! We went thru Rexburg where Nic was born and it was neat to see where he used to live! Our hotel in Jackson was amazing it had a full kitchen washer and dryer, fireplace the whole 9 and we got a killer deal on it! We stayed in Jackson on Friday night and went to this show called Bar J Wranglers, it was fun. Then Saturday morning we got up and looked around Jackson and then headed to yellowstone.
Yellowstone was a little disappointing, but Old Faithful was pretty neat! We cruised thru yellowstone in a day and then stayed the night in Rexburg at a Super 8! It was fabulous! ha ha We got up the next day and headed to Bear World which was awesome. The bears were so cool. We cannot wait to take Domi there next year. He will absolutely love it!
It's been a fun summer with Vegas and Wedding and Jackson and camping we have all definately had a great time. Stay tuned I'll try to keep this thing updated!

Domink's 3rd Birthday

Okay so before I go on about how fun the weekend is. I have to reflect on the fact that 3 years ago. I gave birth to my beautiful boy who I love and adore. It's hard to believe that 3 years ago I had a newborn in my arms. I cannot believe how much he has grown and all the fun things we've already experienced the last 3 years. Dominik is truly such a blessing to me and motherhood is the best thing I've done with my life. He has taught me so many things and shown me the true meaning of life.  I fall more and more in love with him everyday and I try to cherish every moment because time definitely flies by. What's even crazier is that one of my close friends from high school Had her little boy this morning at St Marks hospital and my doctor was the one who delivered her son. It was surreal being at the very hospital I delivered Dom at on his birthday.  Anyway now Dom shares a birthday with Allen Jayden who was born at 7:52 am and was 9.1 lbs 20 inches. Congrats to Rachel and Josh. He is beautiful. I'm not gonna lie it made me so excited for Nic and I to have our first baby together. I can't wait for the day that Nic gets to hold his first born child in his arms. He is already such a great father to Dom and I can only imagine how he will be with his own son or daughter
But first things first let's get the marriage thing done and a house! ha ha. This is such an exciting time for Nic and I and I can't wait for all the firsts we will have together. I really feel like I'm living in a fairy tale sometimes. Nic makes me so incredibly happy in every way and I feel like he is the missing piece I've needed to complete the rest of my life. It's funny because I want it all to be here now. But I know I need to slow down and enjoy every moment of what we have.
Anyway on to the weekend details. Little Dom's party was Saturday. We ended up doing it at the clubhouse where I rent. It rained too much Saturday to do it at the park but we made due and it ended up being a ton of fun. I think Dom really enjoyed himself and he made out as far as presents go. You would have thought it was Christmas with all the gifts he got. I'm so grateful for all my friends and family who came to support Dom.  Nic's family came too which really meant a lot to me.  I'm so lucky to have such a great new family and they are so good to both Dom and I. We got Dom his first bike and he was excited. I'm not gonna lie I had a panic attack when I bought it. I started thinking of all the ways he could get hurt. But I know I've got to quit being so protective.  After Dom's party we had to get ready for my birthday celebration with my friends.
Nic and I were both so exhausted but we got our second wind and it was off to Porcupine Grill and Canyon Inn. It was a ton of fun.  We both have such a great support system from friends to family. A lot of people turned out to both events. I'm glad to say that it's all over until Nic's birthday on the 18th :)   Thanks to everyone who came, it means a lot and we love you all!

31st Birthday Celebration

I had a wonderful Birthday yesterday. I got lots of Birthday wishes from my friends and family and had a terrific day. Nic and I put an offer in on a home so the last few days have been stressful! We are still waiting to hear back but I have to say buying a house is quite the ordeal.  Yesterday we were dealing with all sorts of things to prequalify etc.. so we both had a pretty rough day. But Nic managed to make my Birthday completely special by having Wine, Roses a card and the 32G Ipod touch waiting for me when I got home. He is the sweetest man alive I swear. He always makes me feel so special.  He also took me to Iggy's where we went on our very first date together which was a year ago today. My how time flies. We were both joking about where we were a year ago and where we are today. I never would have thought a year ago that I would be marrying the man of my dreams and buying a house :) Life could not be any better and I'm so excited for all the great things we have in store.
This weekend is Dom's party as well. He turns 3 on Monday. We were going to have a party at the park but thanks to Mother Nature we have to move it to the Clubhouse at my condo. I keep reminding myself he is only 3 and I need to quit stressing so much over his party. We are having cake and pizza and I may get a pinata. I thought that would be fun for the kids. Anyway it should be a great weekend stay tuned for pics and an update about this weekend.

Privatizing My Blog

So I decided to make my blog private so that only people I choose can read what I write.  I've wanted to do it for awhile now but did not know how! So several of you may have gotten an email requesting to view my blog so that is why.  We don't need any crazies reading our personal stuff and I've heard of many people that had strangers viewing their blogs so I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and make ours private as well. Anyway I hope everyone has a great day just wanted to let you know why everyone got emails requesting to view the blog!

Parent Appreciation Day

Yesterday I got the honor of attending Parent Appreciation Day at Dominik's preschool. First of all it was great to get off work at 3:30 but most of all it was fun to go spend time with my son at his school. They had a bunch of activity centers set up and little projects for them to do. It was a lot of fun and neat to see what things they have Dom doing all day long.
He was so excited to see me and thanked me for visiting him at school. Our first stop was a Dinosaur fossil making center. They were taking marshmallows and toothpicks and making "fossil's". Dom's looked more like a building but it was cute nonetheless.
Second we stopped off at little dinosaurs frozen in ice. The kids got to take hammers and break the ice cubes open and get the dinosaurs out. That was Dom's favorite. :) I think he just loved being able to hit the ice and splash the water all over everybody but either way it was fun.
Last but not least Dom read me a dinosaur story. He is Mr. Independent right now and insisted on doing it by himself. He doesn't need his mom anymore because he is a big boy! ha ha.
Anyway it was really fun and I'm so proud of my little man and all he is doing. He is so vibrant and although he is stubborn like his mom. He is my pride and joy and he is what life is all about.  Oh and on a side note potty training is going fabulously he is using the potty almost all the time! HOORAY!  I should also add that Dominik is very excited about having TWO daddy's! It is the cutest thing ever. He says to everyone, "Nic is gonna be my step-dad like my other dad."  It is so cute to see how much he loves and adores Nic. This morning he asked Nic to take him out of the high chair and told him it's cuz Nic is his best buddy in the whole world.  He was even bummed when Nic didn't come to his school. The feeling is mutual because Nic loves and adores Dom too. I scored big time with this guy. He is going to be an amazing step dad and fantastic father.

Dwight Yoakam

Hello everybody! First of all can I say hooray for sunshine! :)  This weekend was a fun one! Friday night Lacey came over and hung out with us for a bit. I cooked us chicken parmigiana and we played poker and watched Team America. That is one of Nic's all time favorite shows. :)
Then Saturday my motivated butt actually got up and went to the gym, went tanning and got stuff for Dom's birthday party. I decided to have it at Sugarhouse Park and Dom wants a Spongebob theme. So of course I went and got a bunch of Spongebob swag. We were pretty lazy most of the day and then at about 4:30 we headed to Wendover for Dwight. It was so much fun and he is amazing live. After the concert we decided to gamble for a while. Nic did really good at first and then he lost his mojo and we ended up losing! :( So instead of staying the night we decided to drive home. We were both so tired and ended up getting home at about 2:30. Needless to say we slept in til about 10:30!
Nic had to take Lady to the Vet and I went to brunch with my girlfriends for my Birthday! Birthday week has officially begun between Dom and I's birthday we have one heck of an agenda this week :) Brunch was fun and it was fun to see my friends. Two of them are pregnant and have the cutest belly's ever. After brunch Nic, Dom and I headed up to Park City to see his family. It was so nice up there. The snow has finally melted so we were able to start looking at where we want to set everything up for the wedding.  I'm getting so excited. It's going to be beautiful up there.  I can't believe our wedding will be here before we know it. I'm starting to stress a little over the finer details but for the most part the big stuff is handled.  Nic was even cute about it and was throwing in ideas. He came home Friday with 2 cases of wine he got on sale to serve at the wedding because we are trying to get things a little bit at a time so they don't pile up on us at the end.
We have an action packed summer coming up too. Nic's friends Chelsea and Eric are getting married in Vegas in June and we will be flying down for that. Not to mention Memorial Day, 4th of July oh and Nic is playing softball. Amongst various other things :) It will be chaos but so much fun at the same time. I'm really looking forward to Memorial. I love camping and I can't wait to be in the outdoors after being cooped up all Winter. Anyway I hope everyone is enjoying this fantastic weather! xoxo

A year ago Nic walked into my life...

So it's been a year since Nic came into my life and although we were just friends at the beginning I knew he would be someone special. From the day we talked on the stair machine at Gold's I knew he was someone I wanted to get to know.
I remember thinking about him that entire weekend and even talking to my friends and family about this cute guy from the gym I met :) Anyway it all worked out cuz a year later I'm more in love than ever and we are getting married!
He is my best friend and soul mate and as each day goes by I just fall more and more in love with him.  I'm so excited for the future and all the memories we will make together. He is so great to Dom and I can't wait to have our own kids together because I know what an amazing father he is and will be.  It has been fun growing together over this past year and I can say both of us have changed and grown in a positive way. So babe I love you and thanks for a great year and it just gets better and better and I can't wait for the many more to come!
So to celebrate our One year mark I'm taking him to Dwight Yoakam in Wendover. Dwight is one of his favorites and I know we are going to have so much fun.
To fill everyone in on our lives. Things are going great and the wedding planning is coming along. We have pretty much everything booked that we need to and now it's just down to the little details. We are also actively looking for a home! So lots of BIG things happening in our world.
Domi turns 3 on the 27th so we are having a birthday party next weekend for him at the park. He is getting so big and is becoming so articulate with his words and sentences. Not to mention the arguing. I'll tell you what that kid is as stubborn as his mother. If he doesn't get his way WHOA world war 3 happens. But all in all he is a great little boy and he is  teaching us more and more about patience.  :)
Even though Dom can be a bear sometimes I'm getting so baby hungry. I can't wait to start our family. We might wait a little bit just to spend some time together. But we are both pretty excited to get started on our family. So there is our world in a nut shell. We are looking forward to summer and camping and fishing and hiking. I hope everyone is doing well.

Our Trip to California

We just got back from California and we had a blast. It was awful coming back to this snow after being in the warm sunshine. It was also hard leaving my dad. I don't realize how much I miss my family until I've spent a few days with them.
It was so fun just getting to be on vacation with Dom and Nic and it gave Nic a chance to get to know my family a little better. They just adore Nic and had nothing but great things to say about him.
We flew in on Wednesday and rented a car in Santa Barbara it was about a 2 hour drive to my dad's house and we tried to stop at some beaches along the way but they wanted $8 just to drive threw the place so we pulled off the side of the road and took some pics from the street. :)
We stopped in at my dad's new office when we arrived and said hi for a minute then headed to his house to see my step mom Tina. Dom was so happy to see Grandma and Grandpa he just lit up! It couldn't be because they spoil him rotten or anything.  They decided to celebrate his bday a month early and I swear you would have thought it was Christmas with all the presents they got him. He got a baseball and bat (which he is awesome with) Spongebob stuff galore and a remote control car. Amongst other things. Needless to say this kid was ecstatic.  He had a blast with everything and Nic even played baseball with him. Dom is so coordinated for his age. I cannot wait to get him into sports. Nic and I talked about putting him into Tee ball this year and having Nic coach the team :)
Thursday we decided to take Dom to the beach for the day. So we drove to Pismo and walked the pier and then took Dom to play in the sand and in the ocean. At first he was scared to death of the water but once we put him in, he loved it.  Nic even found Dom a sand crab to look at however, he didn't know quite what to think of that.
After playing at the beach for a bit we went and grabbed lunch and headed back to town.  Nic offered to cook the fam prime rib so we went and picked up all the stuff for that and then headed back to Dad's. Dinner was fantastic. Nic is an amazing chef especially when it comes to grilling and meat.  My sis and her friend came to visit as well and it was good to see her.
Friday was the big wine tasting day. My parents won a day of wine tasting in a 50's limo so we found a sitter for Dom and headed off to wine taste for the day. We had sooo much fun. The car was awesome and the Wine tasting was even better. The wineries are beautiful. I wish we could get married on a Vineyard but unfortunately they don't have those in Utah :(  We had lunch at  a Winery called Cass and it was delicious. The weather was beautiful and it was fun being able to enjoy the warm weather and sunshine.  Our favorite winery is called Sculptera they have all these amazing sculptures throughout the Vineyard and their wine is delicious!
After that we stopped at a winery called Clautierre! They have fun wigs and hats and so we played dress up there which was totally fun. Our last stop was a new winery called Pear Valley and their wine was really good and reasonably priced. The Building was beautiful. After Pear Valley we called it a day and headed to a restaurant called AJ Spurs where we stuffed our faces. After dinner we headed home and just relaxed for the night.
Saturday Tina and I decided to go looking for wedding dresses and so Dad took Dom and Nic to go look at the Elephant seals. Dress shopping was a success and I finally found the dress. Nic's mom and I have been shopping for a week and had found a few I could not make up my mind. Well I fell in love with this dress in Cali and it's beautiful.  I had to carry it on the plane which was tons of fun let me tell ya :) Dom, Nic and dad had fun in Cayucos and then we all met for some lunch. Then Grandma and Grandpa took Dom to show him off and Nic and I headed home for a nap!
Saturday night we just cooked dinner and hung out as a family. We didn't want to do anything too crazy since we had to travel the next day.  I was so sad to leave. We had such a good time and I love my family so much. Dom was a little terror that day so it made the trip a little more difficult and the snow in Utah delayed our flight so that was fun as well.
All in all California was amazing and we made lots of great memories this trip I can't wait for many more to come over the years.  Dom had such a blast and was way sad to leave.  But at some point we had to get back to reality. Now it's time to keep on planning the wedding. Hope everyone is doing well!

Our Engagement Party

It's been forever since I have posted anything so I figured I better post some pics and write about what we've been doing. Life has been hectic from wedding planning to birthday parties to our engagement bash. I swear there is never a dull moment in our lives.
We have a tentative wedding date set for August 1st, we are still working out the details and deciding on things with the economy and everything else going on we need to simplify where we can. But it should be a beautiful day none the less and in the end I get to be with my man and that is all that matters to me.
We had an engagement party this last weekend and it was a lot of fun. We got all our friends together and had dinner and drinks at a place called Habits. It was fun to celebrate with our nearest and dearest friends. I also took advantage and brought  an address book to get everybody's addresses. Nic's mom has an extra book lying around and gave it to us. It has weimaraner dogs in it and it is the cutest thing ever.
I had a tank top made that said Future Mrs Arnold on it. I know I am the biggest cheeser ever but I'm so excited to be Nic's wife and I wanted the world to know :) Saturday morning we went up to Park City and spent some time with Nic's family and Lady. It was good to see everyone, I haven't seen his mom in 3 weeks and it was fun to sit and chat with her. I think we may have even made some head way on the wedding. I swear wedding planning is so stressful but I know in the end it will be worth it.
Dominik is doing pretty good. We have had some issues with hitting at school lately but we are working thru it. We started implementing the "naughty chair" so hopefully that will help. Jenn swears by this method and she has four amazing kids so we thought we should try it out. We are still working on the potty training we have until July to get him fully potty trained so he can move up a class. So we are stepping up the efforts :)
We go to California to see my dad in 2 weeks and I cannot wait. I miss my family so much. All in all things are great.  I hope everyone is doing well and I will get better at posting things.

Engagement Weekend Pictures

He Popped the Question....

Okay so it's 2:30 am the day after Nic made me the happiest girl in the entire world and I cannot sleep! Words cannot express how happy and excited i am right now! So details....First of all let me preface this with I am the biggest brat in the entire world! I have been torturing Nic and bugging him about marriage for the last little while and let me tell you what, yesterday made me totally humiliated and humbled for even questioning Nic. We started our Sunday morning with me bawling because I thought he did not want to marry me. Little did i know there was a ring sitting about ten feet from me! :)

He told me he about just chucked the ring at me and said "HERE" I am so so glad he didn't. So after he calmed me down and i realized how ridiculous I was being and that Nic would get to asking me in his own time Nic took me up to Park City for what was supposed to be a relaxing day with his family. :)

Now if I really think about it all the clues were there but Nic had me so thrown off his trail I had NO IDEA! First he had us drive together which we never do when we go to Park City but I thought hey it's more quality time with my man! :) Then we drove up to a ski resort and apparently Nic was trying to find a neat place to stop where he could ask me but guardsman pass was closed off so he gave up hope! Mind you we are talking about rings and such on the way up there! ha ha ha! Again I didn't even pick up on anything.

Then after Nic has driven me thru half of Park City we decided that we were hungry so we went to lunch at our favorite restaurant Baja Cantina. We ate a delicious meal but Nic decided he didn't' want to propose at a restaurant he wanted it to be original. Yesterday was such a beautiful day so Nic and I decided to walk around outside and enjoy the sunlight. As we are walking we spot an ice skating rink so we decide to stop and sit on a bench and watch the ice skaters and skiers up the mountain.

We sat there and talked for a bit and suddenly he looks at me and says, "You know how much I love you right? and starts telling me how amazing I am, well then he suddenly clams up and I guess stumbles on his words so he stops and has me go get him tissue for his nose (I might want to mention he is sicker than a dog) So I go and grab him a tissue and come back to the bench. Then finally Nic says so I got you a surprise so open your hand and close your eyes. Again at this point I am totally clueless and I think secretly I didn't want to get my hopes up but part of me thought and hoped maybe....

Then he puts the box in my hand and I can feel the velvet box I open my eyes and he says, "Tiffany will you marry me?" I about die. First I ask are you serious???? Are you really serious? Then of course I cry! Then I look at this stunning most amazing and beautiful ring I have ever seen in my life. I cannot believe how gorgeous this thing is. I couldn't have picked out a better ring myself. Oh and of course then I say YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I am still in shock I have never been so surprised in my entire life. I still feel like I am dreaming. I have known Nic was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with from the moment I met him. He has made me SO happy these last 9 months words cannot even express what this man means to me.

He is the most amazing man I have ever met i and I will be proud to call him my husband and I cannot wait for our future to start. I feel like the luckiest girl in the whole world. I guess I should add that I feel totally unworthy and horrible after all the crap I have put my poor fiance through. I can't believe he still asked me after the hell he has endured. I even asked him if he was sure he wanted to marry me still. ha ha ha

Anyway we went up to his parents after and spent some time with them and talked dates and ideas and such. I guess they both knew and his mom even went with him to pick out the ring. I gotta tell you not only am I gaining a great husband, I am gaining a terrific family. I truly from the bottom of my heart Love his family. They are the neatest group of people and I am honored to be a part of what they are. I enjoy their company and know they are going to be a huge source of support to Nic and I. His parents have been married for a long time and I am so glad to have their example as to what a good and successful marriage is. They are best friends and Nic is my best friend and I aspire to have what they share.

I have no doubt that Nic is "THE ONE" and that he will be the one I grow old with and have a beautiful family with. He is so good to my son and I and Dominik is going to have the best step dad around. Nic treats him like his own and that means more than I think Nic will ever understand. I could go on and on about how happy I am.

We are talking about a wedding in August and I will share more details as they come to fruition. I am just want to enjoy this perfect moment. I am so glad I found Nic and being with him just gets better and better every day. He is my soul mate, best friend and much much more.

I do want to add that even his sis Jenn was in on the plot. We had gone to her son Cayleb's Baptism on Saturday and as soon as we arrived Jenn sent Nic to the store for "creamer" but really Nic had to go pick up my ring from the jeweler! LOL So Brady and Nic went and picked up my diamond and there was half and half in the garage so I wouldn't pick up on anything. I have to hand it to everyone they really pulled it off and I was totally clueless.

The funny thing is on Saturday as we spent time with Jenn and her awesome kids I told Nic how neat it would be to get to get to be their Aunt because each one of them is so special. She has got such a darling family and they are so good to Dom and I. They all treat Dom as if he were family and he just loves them. So like I said we really did score as far as families go. I get 2 great sister in laws and 4 of the neatest kids to be an Aunt to and 2 awesome parents in law. Cha ching Tiff hit the jack pot! ha ha ha. Anyway I guess I should end my cheese fest for the night and maybe try and get some sleep. Stay tuned for wedding details.

Many Faces of my Lil Munckin

Colds, Potty Training and Beyond...

Okay so I have officially been sick for over a week and it's the worst cold i have had in a very long time. But I'm happy to say I'm officially on the mend but unfortunately now Nic is getting sick. So now its my turn to take care of him.
He has been so good to me this week. Wednesday night he made me dinner, took care of Dom and just let me relax. It was so so sweet. Even little Dom wanted to help take care of Mommy. He would give me hugs and offer me water because he thought water made me feel better. I swear my son is the cutest darn thing ever. Then yesterday I had to leave for a bit and I came home and Nic had cleaned out my entire refrigerator. I'm pretty sure he is going out for boyfriend of the year! :)
We are also starting to potty train Dom and so we put him in his "big boy" Cars underwear and to no surprise he ended up forgetting to tell Nic he needed to go potty and peed his pants. Bless Nic's heart he was so awesome and got Dom and all cleaned up and bathed.
Dom has also started arguing with us about what he wants and doesn't want. He is literally making me late for work everyday because we go back and forth between him telling me he wants something and then when i give it to him he doesn't want it. It ends up being about a ten minute battle. So the new rule is whatever Dom says he wants the first time is what he gets. He is such a good boy but I think he has begun to understand he wants his Independence. I talked to his teacher today and she told me he is advanced for his age so he is starting 3 year old behaviors in addition to the already fun two year old one's. I still love the little stinker to death and no matter how much he frustrates me sometimes one hug and kiss and Mom's heart melts.
He is gone with Dad this weekend so we will miss him dearly. But that will just give me more time to nurse poor Nic back to health. So i'm trading in one baby for another! HA HA HA!!! I guess i can't complain since technically it's my fault Nic is sick! :( Anyway hope everyone is doing well!!!! Oooh some exciting news all 3 of us are goin to California in March to see my dad for 4 days. I am so excited. We get to go wine tasting and Nic will get to see some more of California. So until next time. Everyone have a wonderful weekend!

Brea and Jonaton's Wedding

This weekend i had the privilege of being a part of my good friend Brea's wedding. It was such a beautiful wedding and her and her new husband are so in love! :) Even little Domi got to be a part of it. I have to be honest it was a little stressful being in a wedding with both of us in it. We had to be to Canterbury Hall at 4 and the wedding started at 6 so trying to keep him dressed up and in a good mood for that many hours was a stretch but when it came time for the actual ceremony he did amazing. The only thing was that he ran down the wrong side of the isle and into my arms. It was the cutest thing ever.
Nic bribed him with scooby snacks so he went and sat in his lap during the ceremony. Let me tell you what, Nic is such a trooper! He was such a great help with Dom and was great with all my friends and all the new people he met. I am so blessed he is in my life and was proud to call him my date! :) All the girls gave Nic the stamp of approval which i never doubted for a minute he would get. ha ha!
Dom was a HAM! He was dancing and flirting with the girls! He kept pulling Krissi and I out to the dance floor. I swear we did not get a moments rest. That boy has endless energy i swear! If only mommy could have just a little.
The wedding was so much fun we danced the night away! It's so neat the celebrate the special people in your life especially when they find true love. I think Nic is glad the wedding is over! I was just hoping maybe it would inspire him to pop the question! ha ha ha!!!!! He said I've talked about marriage for the last little while so maybe now that the wedding is over i won't use the "M" word so much! :) Anyway it was a fabulous day and I'm so happy for the both of them. Nic and Dom were fantastic sports and Nic definitely earned his awesome boyfriend badge this weekend! So THANKS BABE you are the best!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year Everyone! We hope that everyone had a safe and awesome New Years! Nic and I went over to a little get together down the street from my house with Eric and Chelsea. It was lots of fun they had drinks, good food and we played a dice game. It was very low key but a great time!

I am so excited for 2009! I can't wait to see what this year has in store and I'm so glad that Nic is a part of this new year with me. 2008 was so much fun and we did so many fun things and had so many great times together and i know 2009 is going to bring many more fun and exciting things. We officially start our cleanse on Sunday and we are hoping to shed the Holiday and Happy pounds we have put on since we met! :) So wish us luck! ha ha ha

I got my Little man back yesterday and he was so happy to be home and we were happy to have him. Nic and I miss him dearly when he is gone. We were both a little skeptical about how the homecoming would be after he had been gone for so long. But he came home the happy and good boy we love.

We headed up to Nic's for dinner and to drop Nic off because he is jeeping with his dad and family friends today. Unfortunately i had to work and I'm a little sad. This is the first time Nic has gone jeepin without me since we met. But i think i can manage! :) I also have a rehearsal for a wedding Domi and I are in tomorrow. I'm hoping Nic is back in time to attend the dinner with me! However i think Nic is hoping he won't be! ha ha ha! This is the last weekend of madness and then hopefully we can relax and have some down time!!!! Our next adventure will be potty training Dom, i told Nic we have to rent a bunch of movies one weekend and get the timer out so we can get that little guy out of diapers. Anyway Happy New Year everybody!!!! Keep checking in to see what new and exciting things keep happening in our world!!!!
