Well it's official we have hit the 12 week mark and our little embryo is now a Fetus. I could hardly believe my eyes today when I saw how much our little baby has changed. It was moving around all over the place and flailing it's little arms and legs. It was the most amazing thing ever. I get more and more excited every day . We also have a Fetal Doppler so we have been able to hear the heart beat all the time. It's Dom's nightly thing to ask me if he can hear the babies heartbeat. It just melts my heart that he even thinks to ask. Only a few more weeks until we get to see what we are having. I'm not quite sure at this point what it could be. But as long as he or she is healthy I am happy. I'm just so grateful for this precious gift! Nic was so cute to watch during the ultrasound he could not believe that the baby was moving all over the place. I think it made him pretty excited too. We both can't wait for this little baby to get here.
I can't believe Thanksgiving is here. This year has flown by! I cannot believe I am married with a baby on the way :) A year ago I never would have thought I would be here. But I could not be happier! I am so thankful for my amazing husband and son. I am also grateful for my amazing new family and my family and friends. Nic and I have such a great support group from every angle and we are very blessed to have the people in our lives that we do! So I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and remind everyone to be Thankful of all the blessings they have in their lives. In this tough economy and all the stresses we all have, I think we forget to remember all the positive things around us. Anyway I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend and stay tuned.
